Sean McDonald, PA-C

Sean McDonald, Physician Assistant-Certified, has been with Matthys Orthopaedic Center since October 2008. He grew up in Kindred, North Dakota. Sean received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of North Dakota, and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Sean graduated with honors in 1999 from Nova Southeastern University. He has worked in the field of orthopaedic surgery as a physician assistant since this time.

Sean is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the North Dakota Academy of Physician Assistants. In 2006, he received the “North Dakota Outstanding Physician Assistant of the Year Award”. As a physician assistant, Sean performs examinations, diagnoses, and treats orthopaedic-related problems in both the clinical and hospital setting under the supervision of Dr. Matthys.
